Terms of Service

Effective July 16, 2026

By using DexThemes, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Service

DexThemes provides theme discovery, drafting, previews, Codex import handoffs, community publishing, achievements, and related open-source tools. Features may change, pause, or be removed.

Your content

You keep ownership of original themes and feedback you create. By publishing a theme, you grant DexThemes a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, moderate, and distribute it as part of the service and its open-source community catalog. You confirm you have the rights needed to submit it.

Acceptable use

Do not submit malware, secrets, personal data without permission, hateful or illegal content, deceptive impersonation, infringing brand assets, copied protected palettes, or automated abuse. Do not probe other accounts, evade rate limits, brute-force authentication, or interfere with service operation.

Moderation

DexThemes may reject, remove, limit, or preserve content and accounts to enforce these terms, protect users, comply with law, or maintain the service. Achievement eligibility may be revoked if its verified condition no longer applies.

Third-party services and names

GitHub, Codex, OpenAI, and other referenced products or inspirations are governed by their own terms. DexThemes is an independent open-source project and is not endorsed by or affiliated with OpenAI or GitHub. Inspired themes must use original palettes and must not include third-party logos, artwork, music, or other protected assets without permission.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, DexThemes and its maintainers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.

Changes and contact

Updated terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Questions can be raised through the support page.
